About Me
My career journey has been a unique blend of precision and creativity, from the engine rooms of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier to the main stages of festivals performing with major national recording artists. This diverse experience has equipped me with a unique set of skills that I now bring to my role as an instructional designer and educator, where I seamlessly blend precision with creativity.
Teaching in an inner-city public school, I am constantly adapting to the needs of a multilingual and culturally diverse student body. I design technology and music instruction for English- and Spanish-speaking learners, ensuring that every lesson is engaging and accessible. My ability to adapt complex concepts into digestible lessons reassures learners that I can meet them where they are.
Currently, I am completing my M.S. in Instructional Design & Technology at Western Illinois University, specializing in eLearning development, multimedia production, and SCORM-compliant training. I bring the same high energy and production values from my experiences on world-class stages, along with the problem-solving discipline I developed in the Navy, to create learning experiences that are as dynamic and memorable as a live performance. This energy ensures that my work is engaging and exciting for learners.
